Sydney Australia by Emily McGuire

Yesterday I went to Sydney for the day. I didn’t venture from Circular Quay and around Opera House (I had things to do in that area). I took some photos to share though.
Sydney Harbour is beautiful. No matter how many times I have seen it (and it has been a lot), I am still amazed by how pretty it is. I also love the ferries – Circular Quay is obviously a great place to sit and watch them. And of course, who could forget the Sydney Harbour bridge?

I hope you enjoy the photos below.

Chi Town – by Emily McGuire (Australia)

Hello to you blog reading people. I had plans to take photos all week, of course it slipped my mind. Then it was Sunday night and I was without photos. So I went through my large collection and found some that I took in Chicago when I was in the USA. I LOVED Chicago – I was only there for a short time, but we did an architectural cruise and I just loved learning about the city from the water. I would do it again if I went back. So here are some photos I took on the cruise – hope you enjoy 🙂 chicago4

Bay and Ocean – Australia. By Emily McGuire

I recently went to Tanilba Bay in Port Stephens (NSW, Australia) and I took a few photos. I will be sharing those today. I also took some photos of Newcastle Beach area – which is where I seem to go whenever I feel sad (or mad or any other emotion you can think of).
I am late posting these this week as I have had major computer issues, but I have sorted that all out, thankfully.
Hope you enjoy the photos and do go over to my blog and check it out. http://www.sylimephotos.wordpress..com – – until next time….

Again I am running behind in posting. Again, I feel like I am stuggling to find photos to post as I haven’t had the time to go out and take new photos. So today I am sharing a selection of different photos I took a while ago. Please enjoy and if you want to see my other photos please visit http://www.sylimephotos.wordpress.com

Next month I promise to have brand new photos to share 🙂

Catherine Hill Bay, Australia by Emily McGuire

I am a little late posting this week – I had a million things going on and I wasn’t sure in the end if I had some photos to share, but I do *Phew* .

Recently I went to a place called Catherine Hill Bay (Or “Catho” to the locals – I will stick to saying “Catherine Hill Bay” myself). I was stunned by the white sand and the big waves (which are not too visible in the photos I am about to share). I could see why people love the place so much and I will go back back when I have more time to take more photos.

I hope you enjoy the photos and please go and look at my blog http://www.sylimephotos.wordpress.com  to see more of my photos.

Queensland, Australia By Emily McGuire

It was my intent to go out today and take some magnificent photos. Of course I wasn’t able to (such is life), so I have decided to go back and share the photos I took when I lived in Hervey Bay, Queensland. I hope you all enjoy them and please, go look at my other photos on my blog – http://www.sylimephotos.wordpress.com

The photo above is where I used to walk my dogs every day. It was very pretty, the water was really warm (which I did not like, but I was in Queensland, I learned to accept it). This place was called Dayman Point.

The above photo was taken at the Hervey Bay Marina. There were houses all along here, I always wanted to live there. 🙂

The above photo was taken at Urangan Pier. I loved this pier. At high tide you could not walk under it as the water came right up under it (at low tide though you could walk out on the sand, through puddles of water,  for almost a kilometre, which I always found freaky).
