If there’s something that I love, is taking a stroll around the city when it’s cold. Yes, I know, you might think that I am crazy but there’s something refreshing about walking in the cold… and Athens is still wearing its colorful attire, still in celebrating mode with its christmas lights still lit! Here are some of the photos I took, and I liked- trust me my hand was shaking like amd from the cold- and I do hope you like them too!
My name is Natasha Tzavara and I’m 24 years old. I live in Petralona, a district of central Athens. I love the city center and I used to walk many hours daily in its neighborhoods and discover new parts of it. Photography is one of my loves! Recently I discovered my interest in dance and more specifically for tango, which is based on communication and strong emotions! I took these photos after a walk in the center during the night, when the colors dissapear and everything becomes different, but still as beautiful and interesting as the morning!
A few years back, I decided to try my hand at taking photos of a friend at night in downtown Spokane. I had never done a photo shoot at night before. I really wanted to see if I could take decent portraits using only light that was available from windows and streetlights. Many of the photos turned out really cool looking and it makes me want to do this sort of portrait shoot again soon.
