If there’s something that I love, is taking a stroll around the city when it’s cold. Yes, I know, you might think that I am crazy but there’s something refreshing about walking in the cold… and Athens is still wearing its colorful attire, still in celebrating mode with its christmas lights still lit! Here are some of the photos I took, and I liked- trust me my hand was shaking like amd from the cold- and I do hope you like them too!
Yesterday I went to Sydney for the day. I didn’t venture from Circular Quay and around Opera House (I had things to do in that area). I took some photos to share though.
Sydney Harbour is beautiful. No matter how many times I have seen it (and it has been a lot), I am still amazed by how pretty it is. I also love the ferries – Circular Quay is obviously a great place to sit and watch them. And of course, who could forget the Sydney Harbour bridge?
I hope you enjoy the photos below.
Hello to you blog reading people. I had plans to take photos all week, of course it slipped my mind. Then it was Sunday night and I was without photos. So I went through my large collection and found some that I took in Chicago when I was in the USA. I LOVED Chicago – I was only there for a short time, but we did an architectural cruise and I just loved learning about the city from the water. I would do it again if I went back. So here are some photos I took on the cruise – hope you enjoy 🙂
Well, here I am after a long break – it is nice to be back. I haven’t taken photos with my camera since I last posted here. So it will be nice to get back into it and have some fun! Today I am sharing some photos of the beach – it is what I love the most.
I hope you enjoy them.
These boys above were waiting for the waves to crash over them. The swell was quite high that day and they had to hang on tight so they weren’t washed into the ocean pool that is behind them. Such fun!
I recently went to Tanilba Bay in Port Stephens (NSW, Australia) and I took a few photos. I will be sharing those today. I also took some photos of Newcastle Beach area – which is where I seem to go whenever I feel sad (or mad or any other emotion you can think of).
I am late posting these this week as I have had major computer issues, but I have sorted that all out, thankfully.
Hope you enjoy the photos and do go over to my blog and check it out. http://www.sylimephotos.wordpress..com – – until next time….
Newcastle beach (well, the beach is to the right. I was standing near the Canoe Pool (it fills with ocean water and people take their kids to swim in it. I used to swim in it when I was a child) and the ocean is beyond the chains.
I have five cats (long story). I adore them all and I want to share some photos I took of them this weekend. Hope you enjoy. Check out my blog http://www.sylimephotos.wordpress.com and my redbubble page (where I am selling prints) http://www.redbubble.com/people/sylime
This is my sweet Kitski. She has lived with me for 13 years (no idea how old she is as she was a stray) and she is very sick right now with cancer that is spreading rapidly. She is the most adorable girl and I will be so sad to lose her.
Hope you enjoyed.
Morpeth is a town near Maitland in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales. It is known for its jazz festivals, quirky shops and gorgeous old buildings. It is situated near the Hunter River and I spent many days on the river at Morpeth with my family on our boat. It brings back great memories to go back there to visit. Today I went there and took a few photos to share. I hope you enjoy them and a big happy new year to everyone!

This building (barn) is not technically IN Morpeth, but I still love it. I have driven past it about two million times (I am rounding up) and I have ALWAYS ALWAYS wanted to stop and take a photo but I never got around to it, until today.
Again with the old fashioned things you never see any more. A red phone box. It doesn’t seem to have a phone in it (I didn’t actually look that close inside). But it is just beautiful. (I feel I may live in the wrong era!)
